Apollo Beach is located just South of Downtown Tampa with an easy commute via US Hwy 41 or I-75. You know you have found  a boater's dream. There are no bridges  obstructing the water ways to Tampa Bay. Only the Sunshine Skyway bridge separates the Gulf of Mexico from Tampa Bay; even cruise ships can pass underneath this incredible bridge.  Apollo Beach offers several prestigious gated waterfront communities. Perhaps the fifty-five miles of navigable canals are the best known characteristic of Apollo Beach. The canals themselves are lined with magnificent homes with lush tropical foliage, They have an average depth of seven feet in the center and are all connected, eventually merging into Tampa Bay.
